Artist Bio

At the core of my practice sits an intense desire for exploration. I’m intensely interested in the interaction between human and landscape in both an actual and digitally layered sense. How does the experience of a single point of reference change when it considers itself as WITHIN larger systems, instead of at the apex of them?
I relate this to ideas of the ‘post human’ experience in which we have already accepted digital technologies as an extension of our bodies and minds, and from this viewpoint I investigate new ways of being human, while perhaps extending the constructs of humanity itself.

Technically, there is a focus on finding ways to dissolve the traditional boundaries between embodied human experience and disembodied experience through using media systems such as virtual reality and interactive installation based artworks.
